Dispensing Closures and Custom Bottle Caps

We manufacture closures for cosmetic and personal care bottles, jars and tubes: disc tops, flip tops, child-resistant caps, droppers, screw caps and metal caps, with the liner or seal each formula needs. Every closure is specified to the bottle it ships on and matched to it in color and finish, as one set: one color reference, one sample round, one lead time.

Start with the Dispensing Action and the Seal

Three questions choose the closure. Answer them, give us the bottle, and we can specify the cap, the liner and the finish as one set.

  1. How should the product leave the bottle?Press a disc, flip a lid, pull a spout, squeeze through an orifice, draw with a dropper, or not at all, with a plain screw cap.
  2. What has to stay in?Liquids and oils need a liner or seal that holds through shipping; some products need a seal that shows the pack has not been opened.
  3. Who must not open it?Products that must be kept away from children need a tested child-resistant closure.

24/410 24 mm neck diameter 410thread style

In 24/410, 24 is the neck diameter in millimeters and 410 the thread style. A cap only fits a bottle with the same diameter and thread, so we specify the closure and the bottle together.

Closure Types

The dispensing closures in our range, each specified to the bottle it ships on. Follow the links for the full specification, formula guidance and lead times of each family.

  • Disc top caps on cosmetic bottles

    Disc Top Caps

Press one edge and the disc tilts open; release it and it closes flush. One-handed, with no lid to lift, for shampoo, body wash, lotion and toner.

  • Black child-resistant push-and-turn closure

    Child-Resistant Closures

Push-and-turn caps, CR droppers, squeeze-to-open pop tops and locking tins, with test reports to US 16 CFR § 1700.20 available on request.

  • Glass dropper bottles with droppers

    Droppers

Squeeze-bulb, push-button, child-resistant and graduated droppers, with glass or plastic pipettes cut to the bottle.

  • Bottles with flip top caps

    Flip Top Caps

A hinged lid over a dispensing orifice: flip it up, squeeze, snap it shut. The everyday closure for lotion, sunscreen and body care bottles and tubes.

  • Push and pull closures in red and green

    Push-and-Pull Caps

Pull the spout up to open and push it down to close: one-handed, with no lid to lose, for body care, travel and refill bottles.

More Closures We Make

Beyond dispensing closures, we supply the caps, seals and stoppers that finish a pack: decorative metal caps, tamper evidence, plain screw caps and specialist closures.

  • Gold electroplated zinc alloy perfume caps

    Metal Caps

Metal gives a glass bottle weight in the hand and a true metal surface. We make die-cast zinc alloy caps, electroplated or colored, the heavy premium cap on fragrance, and lighter aluminum caps and collars, anodized or brushed.

  • White ribbed screw caps with tamper-evident breakaway bands

    Tamper-Evident Closures

A tamper-evident closure shows whether the pack has been opened. Many packs need it alongside child resistance.

    • Breakaway band: a perforated ring that breaks away and stays on the neck when the cap is first turned.
    • Shrink band: a plastic sleeve heat-shrunk over cap and neck, removed to open.
    • Induction seal: a foil liner bonded to the rim, peeled off before first use.
  • Screw caps for cosmetic bottles

    Non-Dispensing Caps

Screw caps that simply close the bottle or jar: smooth or ribbed, matched to the container, with a standard, pressure-sensitive or foil liner chosen for the formula. For creams, balms and refills.

  • Amber essential oil bottle with orifice reducer and cap

    Orifice Reducers

A small insert pressed into the neck of an essential oil bottle, so the oil leaves drop by drop instead of pouring. The screw cap closes over it.

  • Natural wooden cork stoppers in several sizes

    Cork Stoppers

Natural wood corks, tapered to seal the bottle tightly, for glass pre-roll tubes, vials and small glass bottles.

  • Lip gloss tube with brush wand applicator cap

    Plastic Brush Caps

Caps with the applicator built in, so the closure carries the product to the skin: wands for lip gloss tubes, and slanted applicator tips on squeeze tubes.

Liners and Seals

The liner decides whether the bottle arrives sealed. Each closure takes the liner its formula and its filling line need.

  • Standard liner

Compressed between cap and rim when the cap is tightened.

Suits Most creams, lotions and dry products
  • Pressure-sensitive liner

An adhesive layer bonds to the rim under the pressure of capping; no equipment needed.

Suits Dry products such as powders; occasionally thick creams
  • Foil (induction) liner

An induction sealer bonds the foil to the rim: airtight and tamper-evident.

Suits Liquids and oils that must not leak in transit

A pressure-sensitive liner needs no equipment; an induction liner needs an induction sealer on the filling line. Tell us how the bottle will be filled and shipped, and we specify the liner to match.

Customization

The cap is the part of the pack customers touch first. Every surface on it can be specified and matched to the bottle it closes.

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions buyers ask most before they specify a closure. If yours is not here, send it with your product details and we will answer it against the real pack.

Ask about your closure
Which closure suits my formula?

Start with how the product should leave the bottle: a disc top, flip top or push-pull cap for lotions, shampoo and body wash, a dropper for serums and oils, an orifice reducer for essential oils, and a screw cap for creams and jars. Then add the liner or seal the formula needs, and a child-resistant closure if the product must be kept away from children.

What does a neck finish like 24/410 mean?

The first number is the neck diameter in millimeters; the second is the thread style. A cap only fits a bottle with the same diameter and thread, which is why we specify the closure and the bottle together.

What is the difference between child-resistant and tamper-evident?

A child-resistant closure stops a young child from opening the pack and stays child-resistant when reclosed. A tamper-evident closure, such as a breakaway band, shrink band or induction seal, shows whether the pack has been opened. Many packs need both.

Which liner should I use?

A standard liner for most creams, lotions and dry products; a pressure-sensitive liner for powders and other dry products; and a foil induction liner for liquids and oils that must not leak in transit, which also makes the pack tamper-evident.

Can caps be electroplated or anodized?

Yes. Caps can be electroplated in chrome, gold, rose gold or brushed finishes, made in anodized aluminum, or die-cast in zinc alloy and plated, as well as color-matched, frosted, spray-coated and printed.

What is the MOQ and lead time for custom caps?

MOQ is 10,000 units per SKU on existing molds. A custom-color cap sample takes 15–20 days; production of 10,000 caps takes 10–12 days in a stock color and 20–25 days in a specified color, counted from receipt of vector artwork and payment.
