Certifications & Compliance

We publish certificate numbers, issuing bodies and dates so your compliance team
can verify them directly. Jarsking manufactures through several companies within the Jarsking Group
— Guangzhou Jarsking Packaging Co., Ltd, Guangzhou Jiaxing Glass Products Co., Ltd
and Guangzhou Ouya Packaging Technology Co., Ltd — alongside audited partner
factories. Each certificate and registration below names the group company that
holds it, because that is the name your documentation will carry.

Quality management

ISO 9001:2015 / GB/T 19001-2016

Independently verifiable through HIC at hicgroup.com.cn and on China’s national
CNCA register at cnca.gov.cn.

Our quality system runs incoming (IQC), in-process (IPQC) and final (FQC)
inspection, sampling to GB/T 2828.1 at AQL 2.5 major / 4.0 minor. Non-conformities
are closed through 8D corrective action and batches are traceable in our ERP.

EU packaging compliance — Extended Producer Responsibility

European brands are increasingly required by their own compliance teams to show
that their packaging supplier is registered for EPR. We are.

Germany — Verpackungsgesetz (VerpackG)

This registration is publicly searchable at verpackungsregister.org. You do not
need to ask us for evidence.

Material compliance — heavy metals and restricted substances

The limit that applies to packaging. Since 12 August 2026, packaging placed on the EU market must not exceed 100 mg/kg combined for lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium, under the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation. This is the heavy-metal rule your compliance team will be checking against.

Our current screening report

A note on how this report is labelled. It was issued against the EU RoHS substance limits, and you will see many packaging suppliers describe such a report as “RoHS certification”. RoHS governs electrical and electronic equipment; packaging is outside its scope. So we describe this as what it is — a heavy-metal screening report — rather than claim conformity with a directive that does not cover our product category. The substances and the limits are the right ones either way, and we would rather you heard the distinction from us than from your own compliance team.

Child-resistant closures

US 16 CFR § 1700.20 — passed

Child resistance is certified per closure design, not per factory. This report
covers model J652. If your project needs a CR closure we can quote the tested
design, or arrange testing for a new one — tell us at enquiry stage so the
timeline includes it.

Substance testing

We run an ongoing testing programme against the regulations our European and
North American customers are audited on:

• REACH SVHC screening — glass and plastic packaging
• EU Packaging Directive 94/62/EC heavy metals
• Total fluorine (PFAS screening)
• California Proposition 65 — bisphenol A
• TPCH (Toxics in Packaging Clearinghouse) heavy metals

Reports are issued per product and per material, by accredited third-party
laboratories. Ask for the report covering the item you are quoting and we will
send it unedited.

Design protection

We hold registered design patents on original bottle and perfume-bottle designs:

We also hold a Canadian product patent.

All registered holders listed above are Jarsking Group companies.
Guangzhou Jiaxing Glass Products Co., Ltd and Guangzhou Ouya Packaging Technology
Co., Ltd are both group manufacturing entities, so every design on this list is held
within Jarsking and developed for your project directly with us.

Designs we develop for your project remain yours. Designs from our own library
are protected — which is part of why a structure developed with us cannot simply
be re-ordered from another supplier.

Sustainable materials

For PLA and PHA projects we work with certified resin producers whose materials
carry OK Home Compost, DIN CERTCO, BPI and Seedling certification. Those
certificates belong to the material producer, not to Jarsking. We pass them
through with the material declaration so your sustainability claims are properly
sourced and traceable.

For recycled content we work to GRS chain-of-custody requirements. Ask for the
current certificate covering the material in your quotation.

Testing capability

We operate an in-house laboratory with four technicians running dimensional,
functional and appearance checks throughout production. It is not
CNAS-accredited.

Where a project needs accredited third-party data — drop, compatibility,
migration or transit testing — we arrange it with an accredited laboratory and
pass the report to you unedited.

Social compliance

Our Guangzhou facilities are audited under amfori BSCI by SGS. Audit reports
are shared with customers on request under the normal amfori disclosure terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Jarsking ISO 9001 certified?

Yes. Guangzhou Jarsking Packaging Co., Ltd holds ISO 9001:2015 / GB/T 19001-2016, certificate number HIC241772, issued by HIC Certification (IAS accredited, MSCB-250). It is valid from 1 August 2024 to 31 July 2027 and covers the manufacturing of plastic packaging containers for cosmetics.

Is Jarsking registered for EU packaging EPR?

Yes, in Germany. Guangzhou Jiaxing Glass Products Co., Ltd is registered with the Stiftung Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (LUCID) under registration number DE5146464768838, registered since 21 July 2022. The registration is publicly searchable at verpackungsregister.org.

Does Jarsking packaging meet EU heavy-metal limits?

Yes. Since 12 August 2026 the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation limits lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium to 100 mg/kg combined in packaging. Jarsking holds heavy-metal screening report CDT24022806SRE from Shenzhen CDT Testing Technology Co., Ltd, tested to IEC 62321, covering 24 models of cosmetic glass packaging. Note that RoHS, which many packaging suppliers cite, governs electrical and electronic equipment and does not apply to packaging.

Does Jarsking offer child-resistant closures?

Yes. A glass jar with child-resistant cap, model J652, passed US 16 CFR 1700.20 at Beide Compliance Laboratory in Shenzhen, report number B-R181220669. Child resistance is certified per closure design rather than per factory, so tell us at enquiry stage if your project needs one.

Can Jarsking arrange certification for my market?

Yes. Packaging compliance is certified per product and per destination market, so we arrange the documentation your project needs — food contact, child-resistant closures, recycled content, EPR registration, or substance testing. Testing is carried out by accredited third-party laboratories and the report is issued for your item. Tell us the destination market at enquiry stage and we confirm what is required, what it costs and how many weeks it adds.

Does Jarsking provide food-contact testing?

Yes, arranged per product. Where a project requires Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 or German LFGB testing, we arrange it with an accredited laboratory and issue the report for your item.
