A disc top cap is a dispensing closure with a flat disc set into its top. Pressing one edge tilts the disc open over the orifice; releasing it lets the disc return flush with the cap. It is the standard one-handed closure for shampoo, body wash, lotion, toner and other personal care liquids.

The size follows the bottle neck. Disc top caps are commonly made in 18/410, 20/410, 24/410 and 28/410: the first number is the thread diameter in millimeters, the second the thread style, and both must match the bottle exactly. We specify the cap and the bottle together.

A disc top opens and closes with one press and returns flush, which suits products used with wet hands in the shower. A flip top has a hinged lid lifted off the orifice, usually with two hands. Both fit the same neck finishes, so the choice follows how the product is used.

Thin-to-medium liquids that flow easily through the orifice: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, liquid soap, hand sanitizer, body lotion, toner and facial cleanser. A small orifice suits thin liquids, a medium one lotions and shampoos, and a large one thicker gels.

Not always. A seal molded into the cap closes against the neck for most personal care liquids. A pressure-sensitive liner, which seals from the capping torque alone, adds protection against leaks for programs shipped by courier or by sea.

Yes. The cap is matched to the bottle from a physical color sample, and can be frosted, spray-coated, electroplated in chrome, gold, rose gold or brushed, screen printed or hot stamped.

MOQ is 10,000 units per SKU on existing molds. A custom-color cap sample takes 15–20 days; production of 10,000 caps takes 7 days in a stock color and 30 days in a custom color, counted from receipt of vector artwork and payment. Sea freight adds 35–40 days.
