PLA (Polylactic Acid) Face Cream Jars

PLA is a bioplastic derived from fermented plant sugars — most commonly corn starch or sugarcane — making it a genuinely renewable, fossil-fuel-free alternative to conventional petroleum-based plastic. PLA face cream jars carry a lower lifecycle carbon footprint and are industrially compostable under certified composting conditions (EN 13432 / ASTM D6400).

PHA Jars

PHA (Polyhydroxyalkanoate) Face Cream Jars

PHA is the most advanced biodegradable plastic currently available for cosmetic packaging. Unlike PLA, PHA biodegrades not only in industrial composting facilities but also in soil, freshwater, and marine environments — making it the only bioplastic that genuinely addresses ocean plastic pollution at end-of-life.

PHA is produced through microbial fermentation of organic feedstocks (sugars, plant oils), with zero petrochemical inputs.

Calcium carbonate composite jars are manufactured from a blend of natural limestone powder (CaCO₃) and a minimal binding resin — resulting in a material that uses significantly less petroleum-based plastic per unit while achieving superior rigidity, weight, and opacity compared to pure plastic alternatives.

This material is also known commercially as “stone paper” composite or mineral-filled resin in the packaging industry.

CaCO₃ content typically ranges from 40% to 70% by weight, replacing an equivalent proportion of virgin plastic
