Why Beautyworld Dubai matters for fragrance brands

Beautyworld Middle East is where the region's fragrance trade meets. The 2025 edition hosted more than 2,500 exhibitors from 68 countries and 85,291 visitors from 178 countries across 22 halls, according to the organiser's final report. The show covers the whole beauty supply chain, from fragrance compounds and finished perfumes to a curated packaging showcase, prestigepack.

In the Gulf, perfume is a daily ritual and a central gift. Oud, attar, layering and bakhoor all shape what a bottle has to do. It must feel substantial in the hand, hold up to gifting, and give the brand a silhouette people recognise at a glance. That makes Dubai the right place to show new perfume packaging design, and it is why Jarsking keeps an office in the city.

What Jarsking Studio is presenting at SM-A11

Most of the perfume bottles on our stand are original designs created by Jarsking Studio for this show and appearing in public for the first time. Next to them we are showing a selection of proven SKUs that have sold well for brands in past seasons.

  • Shown as finished samples you can hold, not only renders

  • Perfume bottles with a track record in market
  • Faster route: customise colour, finish and decoration
  • Matched caps, pumps and gift boxes as complete sets

The design language of the new bottles

The new collection treats the bottle as an object people keep, not just a container. Four ideas run through it:

  • Sculptural overcaps. The cap carries the brand story and makes the bottle recognisable from across a counter.
  • Statement collars and inlays. A contrasting band between cap and shoulder adds colour, texture and a jewellery-like detail.
  • Weight and clarity in glass. Heavy bases and clean walls give the juice presence and the bottle a premium feel in the hand.
  • Metallic light. Gold, rose-gold, chrome and brushed finishes, used deliberately rather than everywhere.

Every design on the stand is drawn with production in mind. Our decoration capabilities, including metallization, hot stamping, screen printing and spray coating, sit under the same roof as design. So is the secondary packaging, including rigid gift boxes with magnetic closures and satin linings.

How OBM turns a concept into your bottle

OBM is Jarsking's design-led co-development service. Jarsking Studio's 30+ designers and our engineers take a bottle from brief to delivery with one dedicated project manager, and the result is packaging built around your brand rather than adapted from a catalogue.

What the OBM process looks like in practice

The images below come from two original Jarsking Studio perfume concepts, MOOD//STONE and SATURNINE, and follow a bottle from the first mood to a finished collection. Both are in-house studio projects, created to show the complete design work a brand receives before tooling begins.

MOOD//STONE perfume packaging design moodboard with four models styled in red, cream, blue and sage moods
Step 01 · MoodboardStart with a feeling, not a bottle. The MOOD//STONE moodboard sets the brand idea before any shape is drawn: "You are not one mood. Why should you smell like only one?" Four styled looks in red, cream, blue and sage become the four moods, and later the four fragrances. Designers and brand then agree the emotional direction before investing in form.
MOOD//STONE CMF proposal with four stacked pebbles, hex colour codes and notes on glass, spray and cap
Step 02 · CMF proposalTurn the mood into colour, material and finish. Four polished pebbles translate the moods into exact colour codes: Coral Red, Amber Yellow, Blue Jewel and Crystal Green. Beside them, the board already specifies each component: high-clarity flint glass for the bottle, a fine-mist spray, and a matching translucent pebble cap. It links the creative story to what the factory will actually make.
SATURNINE custom perfume bottle sketch development, hand-drawn ringed bottle variations on a studio desk beside a glass prototype
Step 03 · Design refinementExplore many forms, then choose one. For SATURNINE, inspired by the planet's rings, the designers sketched a series of variations: ring angles, cap heights and body proportions, each weighed against a glass study model. Only the strongest silhouette moves forward, so the brand chooses from considered options instead of a single guess.
SATURNINE 50 ml perfume bottle technical overview with geometry studies, exploded component diagram, materials and engineering details
Step 04 · EngineeringMake it buildable before it is built. The technical overview takes the chosen form from orbital geometry studies to proportions, cap and ring development, and a final 50 ml eau de parfum bottle. The exploded diagram separates every part: crystal cap, cap collar, atomizer, glass bottle and orbital ring. The engineering notes then cover secure fit, fine-mist spray, ring integration and base stability, which is the DfM work that protects your tooling budget.
SATURNINE perfume bottle colour collection in gold, black, grey, aquamarine, clear, blush pink and malachite green
Step 05 · Colourways & finishesOne mould, seven personalities. The same SATURNINE bottle is rendered in seven colourways, from electroplated gold to malachite green, blush pink and smoke. Each pairs a bottle finish (clear, tinted, gloss or matte) with its own cap and ring treatment. For a brand, this means a whole fragrance line from a single tooling investment.
SATURNINE seven-bottle collector gift box with lift-off lid, display stage and pull-out drawer
Step 06 · Secondary packagingFinish the story in the box. The collector gift box presents the collection as a display: a lift-off lid, a raised stage for three bottles and a pull-out drawer holding four more. Gifting is central to fragrance, and because the box is designed alongside the bottle, the fit is right from the first sample.

How to plan your meeting at SM-A11

Book ahead and bring the essentials, and the first conversation can become a design direction. Visitor registration is online only, and the show is open to trade visitors aged 18 and over (organiser's visitor information).

  1. Email info@jarsking.com with your preferred day and time.
  2. Bring your scent story, target fill volume and the markets you are launching in.
  3. Bring reference bottles or images of what you like, and what you don't.
  4. Share your planned quantity so we can recommend ODM or OBM on the spot.

Frequently asked questions

When and where is Beautyworld Middle East 2026?

Beautyworld Middle East 2026 runs 6–8 October 2026, 10 am to 6 pm, at Dubai World Trade Centre in the UAE. Jarsking Packaging is in Sheikh Maktoum Hall, stand SM-A11.

What is Jarsking showing at Beautyworld Dubai 2026?

Jarsking is presenting new perfume bottle designs created by Jarsking Studio, its in-house design team, most of them shown for the first time. Proven best-selling perfume SKUs are on display alongside them.

Can a design from the stand become my brand's own bottle?

Yes. Through OBM co-development, a Jarsking Studio concept can be refined into a bottle built around your brand, covering shape, cap, colour, material and finish. Ownership and exclusivity terms are agreed per project.

What is the MOQ for a custom perfume bottle from Jarsking?

For ODM customisation of an existing Jarsking bottle, the MOQ is 10,000 units per SKU. For OBM co-development of a new bottle, it is typically 30,000–50,000 units per SKU, because the design needs its own private mould. The final MOQ is confirmed per project.

How long does a custom perfume bottle take with OBM?

OBM projects take 84–110 days from concept to ex-works delivery, with one project manager throughout. Sea freight adds 35–40 days.
