Sculpted Wave Glass Perfume Bottle 100ml

This is a 100ml double-wall glass perfume bottle built around a draped wave relief that runs across the front face like folded fabric. The proportions are deliberately unusual: at 98.18mm tall and 88.25mm wide, it is nearly square in elevation, which gives it a grounded, object-like presence rather than the tall-flask look most fragrance bottles share.

The buyer. A mid-size designer fragrance brand is building its holiday gifting program. Roughly a third of its annual volume moves in November and December, almost all of it as gift purchases, and the buying decision is made by someone who will never smell the fragrance before paying for it. The brief for the season’s hero SKU was blunt: it has to sell closed.

The tradeoff. The brand’s existing bottle is a tall flask that photographs well alone but disappears inside a box. Every previous holiday effort had loaded the differentiation onto the carton — foil, ribbon, a printed sleeve — which raised secondary packaging cost each year while the bottle inside stayed generic. The result was a gift that looked expensive until it was opened, which is the wrong order.

The Jarsking response. We proposed treating the bottle and box as one designed object with a shared motif, so the money spent on presentation also buys product distinctiveness. The wave relief molded into the glass becomes the visual signature; the box carries the same wave as a blind emboss. Nothing about the pairing depends on extra foiling or applied decoration.

The choice you can see. The image shows the pairing at rest: a white drawer box with the wave pattern embossed into the sleeve, a single red edge stripe, and a red satin pull tab that echoes the bottle’s color without printing it. Slide it open and the bottle sits in a fitted white tray — red gradient dissolving into frosted clear at the base, brushed silver cap, red collar picking up the stripe on the box. The waves on the sleeve and the folds in the glass are the same gesture in two materials, so the reveal confirms the promise on the outside rather than departing from it.

Why it matters commercially. The set holds its value proposition at the moment of purchase, when the box is still shut, and again at the moment of opening, when the recipient sees where the pattern came from. And because the differentiation lives in the mold rather than in seasonal print finishing, the brand can run the same bottle through the rest of the year in a different coating without rebuilding the gift program from scratch each autumn.
